They system shall be a TIGERFLOW Series ES-3000-V-VFD-, UL/C-UL Listed engineered packaged variable speed duplex domestic Reuse water booster system with design conditions of ____ GPM at _____PSI with a flooded suction

Rain Water Harvest

The pumps shall be (submersible turbine, self primer, end suction, vertical multi-stage) style , mechanical  seal, coupled to a  ___ hp,  ______ rpm,  __/__/___v , odp premium efficiency motor  There shall be (__) ___” wafer style, non-slam check valves and (__) ____” isolation lug style butterfly valves (option for size 2” and down, flanged for 2 ½” and up; or grooved fittings)

The pump casing will have a Non-electric combination temperature probe & purge assemblies with ½” PRV on purge line.

The control panel shall be a U.L. Listed, NEMA 4, Tiger's Eye Mark V, E-Series Solid State, Power and Control Panel
U.L./C-U.L. 508 Label Micro Controller with Memory Non-volatile no battery backup required and Multi level security passwords, Touch screen operator interface Model C-6 with 6” color screen.  (Option for 8” color screen)

Functions included shall be:

  • Combination Flow and (PID) pressure sequencing with read-out in gpm & psi
  • Suction and discharge pressure read-out in psi,
  • Event history log capable of recording the last 100 events on the screen, individual pump run indication,
  • Hand-off-automatic selectors,
  • Elapsed time meter,
  • Flow Sensor,
  • Low level alarm w/ on-off time delay,
  • Low system w/ on-off time delays,
  • High suction “energy savings” shutdown w/ on-off time delays, enable /disable,
  • High system alarm w/ on-off time delays,
  • Automatic alternation of equal sized pumps, 32-bit RISC micro-controller,
  • USB port,
  • On/off switch for dye injection system,
  • RS-232, RS-485, RS-422 communication ports
  • (__) Thru-door disconnects with individual motor circuit protection. 

The control panel shall also include

  • 24 Volt U.L./C-U.L., CE Approved switching power supply
  • (__)  120 volt fused control circuit transformer,
  • (1) Power on light,
  • (2) Common auxiliary alarm contacts,
  • (1) Panel mounted stainless steel pressure transducers, (1) discharge and (1) suction
  •  (1) Float Switched mounted and wired in panel.
  • Interface TIGER’s EYE controller with optional equipment to maximize packaged system integrity (non-interfaced items   are not covered by the package warranty or liability policy)

The Variable frequency drives shall be: (__) Yaskawa Sub-micro, Nema 1, variable frequency drives with PWM and panel-mounted operator interfaces.

simplex LMI B921-392S1 metering pump (pump rated for 3 ppm at 50% stroke and 50% pulse control)

  • (2) Koflo Static Mixers Model 3-10-3-3-7, 3” Schedule 10 316S/S mixer with (3) mixing elements, 150# flanged

Connections

Miscellaneous Equipment:

  • Ultraviolet Disinfection unit with 3” flanged connections, monitoring system

which includes an S-254 intensity monitor & probe with digital readout, T-120 temp safety control which turns
off unit when temperature goes above 120º F and a 4-20 signal for remote monitoring, lamp out alert and handoff-
automatic switch interfaced with the TIGER’s EYE Series E Mark V controller   

  • (1) Skid mounted 500 Gallon Polypropylene tank w/ Watts 110-14 water make up valve.  (Requires contractor mounting)

 

  • (1) Skid mounted 55 Gallon Polypropylene tank with positive displacement style injection pump for dye injection fitted on the suction side of the pump
  • 3” (5/10/25/50) Micron cartridge or bag filter housing – single bag, swing-bolted top rated at 180 gpm; 304 or 316 stainless steel housing; complete with 50 spare bags.  Band clamp style filter housings shall not be considered equal. 

 

There will be (1) Data Industrial model 220B Paddlewheel flow sensor (for remote mounting)

(1 set)      2-1/2” stainless steel suction and discharge headers with grooved system connections and vertical mounted pumps

The steel system skid with all necessary pipe supports, tubing and wiring for complete skid mounted package and ASME code IV welded, Unit to be factory primed and painted with machine grade finish coat and completely, electrically, hydrostatically and run tested before shipment.

Submittals shall be in accordance with requirements of general specifications. Submit 6 copies to the engineer for approval. All submittals must include the following:

  • Complete shop drawings and complete wiring diagrams. All drawings must be AUTOCAD Revet compatable; complete with full mechanical Desk Top 3-D drawings

 

  • Complete operating and maintenance instructions on CD ROM
  • Furnish written certification of the manufacturers listing with Underwriters Laboratories as an approved manufacturer of control panels.

 

  • Furnish written certification that the manufacturer is listed by UL/C-UL as an approved manufacturer of factory assembled pumping systems.
  • A complete, easily readable functional description of the proposed equipment.

 

  • Upon completion of the installation, the results of the field and acceptance tests as specified under this section of the specification shall be submitted to the engineer.
  • Furnished written certification from the manufacturers’ representative of the proper installation of the station.

 

  • Provide written certification that, a nationally recognized manufacturer of package pump systems, manufactures the pump system. A corporate officer must sign this certification.
  • Operation and maintenance manuals:

Submit complete operations and maintenance information for this specific equipment. The engineer shall review these manuals for completeness. They shall include complete parts list including manufacturers’ reference and ordering number, the local representative name, address and phone number, the model and serial number of the system.

  • The manufacturers shall submit a certificate of product liability insurance for no less than five million dollars ($5,000,000)

 

The factory authorized local representative shall provide (4) hours of startup and field training.

Each system shall be warranted for a period of (18) months from date of shipment or (12) months from date of startup, whichever occurs first.
